Pont Neuf is a station of the Paris Métro in the heart of old Paris and is connected to the Île de la Cité by the nearby Pont Neuf. It opened in 1926 with the extension of line 7 from Palais Royal - Musée du Louvre to Pont Marie. On the station's platforms are large reproductions of various coins, representing the Monnaie de Paris (Paris mint), located nearby over the Seine. The platforms also have an old set of scales for weighing money and two windows showing real coins. ==Nearby Attractions== * the Pont Neuf, the oldest bridge in Paris, opened in 1607, although much renovated over the years * La Samaritaine department store * the Conciergerie, a former prison where much of the Reign of Terror was carried out during the French Revolution * Bibliothèque Mazarine 抄文引用元・出典: フリー百科事典『 ウィキペディア(Wikipedia)』 ■ウィキペディアで「Pont Neuf (Paris Métro)」の詳細全文を読む スポンサード リンク
